Monday nights are a special night for me each week. I have the great pleasure of hosting the college & young professionals from the Church of Christ on Fishinger Road and Buckeyes for Christ ministry for a meal, a devotional, and some games.
This weekly cadence of spending time in fellowship, laughter, study, and joy is a true blessing - and one of the main things I often feel "church families" miss out on. In fact, on most Mondays, I forget to take a photo due to my being enveloped by the moment - lost in the enjoyment of the conversations, relationships, and the food.
In a world of things that are often chaotic, depressing, and filled with negativity, these moments are everything.
If you don't have a night like this each week, may I encourage you to begin one? Find a way, invite some friends, open it to all who might wish to join, and enjoy. I promise you, it is worth it.
And if you are ever in our area, come on by. We will save a seat for you.
