How it all started...
The Church of Christ on Fishinger Road, formerly known as Fishinger and Kenny Church of Christ, has been in the Columbus area since the mid 1870’s. In 1967, a student organization was formed on the campus of The Ohio State University called, “The Biblical Studies Center.”
Over the years, this organization has had a few different names and monikers, finally landing on Buckeyes For Christ in the early 2000’s. As a student organization, we have had a full-time presence on campus since 1967.
We provide a place for believers to grow in their faith during their time in Columbus or while studying at Ohio State. Our Ministry led Bible studies, campus events, and volunteer opportunities are designed to give you the opportunity to serve and deepen your relationship with God.
We understand that college can be a difficult time in life, so we are here to provide Biblical counsel and support. When you are in between the “no longer” (you can’t go back to High school!) and the “not yet” (you aren’t yet where you want to be!), we are here for you.

What does this mean for you? Most importantly, you're always welcome at Buckeyes For Christ. We're saving a seat for you. Wherever you're at in your faith, you'll always be welcome as part of the Buckeye family as we all walk together in obedience to Christ.

Where we are headed...
“Between the No Longer and Not Yet” – a time in between where you once were, to which you can not return, and a place where you are heading but are not there yet. It is with this in mind that we serve the college and young professionals in the Columbus, Ohio region – serving as a community of faith to uplift, train, encourage, and inspire beyond this time of transition, of navigation, from the “no longer” and into the “not yet.”
While you may not yet be where we want to go, we are here to help you navigate this time of life until you reach it.
